The annual exam’s results were announced in a ceremony held at the monastery with Geshe Kalsang Damdul, member of Tibetan Parliament and Secretary of our Education Committee was the Chief Guest, while the Most Venerable Thupten Ngodup, Medium of the State Oracle, distributed the prizes to the top students in their studies. This was followed by speeches by various heads during that day’s ceremony. This also was a special event as it coincided the 30th Anniversary of introducing Buddhist Philosophy Classes at the monastery for the first time in the history of the Nechung Monastery.
